Rooted in Hope.
Built for Every Child.

Hearts of Hope is a specialized residential and day program for children ages 5 to 11 on the autism spectrum. We are operated under the guidance of Guidance for Loved Youth and funded in partnership with the Children's Aid Society of Canada.

Every child in our care receives an individualized Plan of Care, a consistent support team, and a structured environment designed to build real independence and prepare them for life beyond our program.

Our Story

Built on belief. Driven by purpose.

Hearts of Hope was born from a simple and powerful belief: that every child on the autism spectrum deserves more than a placement. They deserve a program that truly sees them, understands their needs, and builds around their strengths. For children the window for growth is wide open. We exist to make the most of it.

Operating under the guidance of Guidance for Loved Youth and in partnership with the Children's Aid Society of Canada, Hearts of Hope brings together clinical support, structured daily programming, and a consistency-first staffing model to give each child the stable foundation they need to grow, regulate, and thrive in the world beyond our walls.

Our Values

What Guides Our Work

Every Child First

Every decision we make starts with the child in front of us: their safety, their dignity, individuality and their future.

Consistency Builds Trust

Children on the autism spectrum thrive on predictability. Stable routines and consistent staffing are the foundation of everything we do.

Accountability Matters

We operate in full compliance with CYFSA, Ontario Regulation 156/18, and MCCSS Quality Assurance Measures.

Real Skills for Real Life

We measure success by the independence and confidence each child carries with them long after they leave our care.

How We Work

From Assessment to Independence

Every child who enters Hearts of Hope receives a fully individualized Plan of Care built from clinical assessments, behavioural history, developmental level, sensory needs, and cultural considerations. No two plans look the same because no two children are the same.

From there, our trained team delivers structured daily programming across life skills, emotional regulation, communication development, and community integration. Every step is documented, reviewed, and adjusted so that each child is always moving forward at their own pace.

Our Team

The People Behind Hearts of Hope

Hearts of Hope is staffed by qualified, experienced Child and Youth Workers who bring both professional training and genuine heart to everything they do.
